Get your soldering iron out

I have to confess that I have a lot of craft books. Too many for one person. One book in particular that I have looked at and said I want to make this project is from the book "Crafty Chica".  For some reason I was thinking that soldering would be a disaster.  I have done it before, I was a teen in the 7o's after all and stain glass was all the rage. However, I finally got motivated this past weekend and gave it a go. 

Here is the finished product. I made it pretty small and I need to wear my reading glasses to see the picture clearly, but I have actually worn it. So, now that I have conquered the soldering iron. I am set to make a bunch of these.
