I saw this kids ride on suitcase in the store and thought I would be fun to wheel C through the airport when we go on our trip to Aruba in March. It fits under the seat and can carry a child up to 100 pounds.  He could pull it himself or hop on for a ride. Cute huh?

Baby Signing Instructor

I have officially become a Baby Signing Time instructor.

Soon I will start classes and teach other parents how to communicate with their babies. I really enjoyed learning the signs along with C and now that he can talk we are continuing with the alphabet. We are finger spelling and putting three words together. He loves to sign "What's your name?"

What I love so much about the Baby Signing Time program is that they use ASL American Sign Language and they show you the sign and give easy ways to remember it. For example the letter C is your hand making a C shape and you remember it because it looks like a mouth that is chomping something.

I will be selling the Baby Signing Time and Signing Time videos if the classes aren't convenient. These videos are the best way to practice and reenforce what has been introduced.

Halloween costumes are so fun to sew and this might be my favorite one. I just wanted to post a pix of the finished product. It was from a pattern so I can't take credit for anything but the cute kiddo.

The Bins

I have been a thrifter for a while and I just discovered that the Goodwill has an outlet here in NY. Long Island city to be exact but, "the bins" are my new bargain shopping spot. I have decided to wear my "finds" over this holiday season and show that upcycling is the new way to dress. You can dress in very stylish outfits for next to nothing. Seriously, I bought about 15 pieces for under 40 dollars and I will be posting my outfits on blogs to come. Let me know your thoughts.
